Courier companies have a number of different ways that they usually let their customers pay for their courier shipments. The methods that are available to you when it comes time to settle accounts with your bay area courier though, are going to depend largely on the method by which you do business with them. What this means, is that if you are an account holder with the company, you usually have more options for how to pay your bills than if you are shipping on a one time basis.

If you're shipping without an account, payment is going to be required up front; it is as simple as that. The courier company is going to have you pay through a good as cash method that they know is going to be good, such as a certified check, or they are going to make sure to process your payment from another method such as a credit card before they pick up your shipment.

Credit cards are a very popular method of paying for courier services. They are used in several different ways. Sometimes you can pay for each order before shipping, such as mentioned above. An account holder, on the other hand, might have an arrangement where the courier could automatically bill their company credit card for the amount of the shipment every month.

Sometimes though, people want more flexibility in their payment options, and this is why so many customers do want to know if paying by PayPal is an option. Especially if you're a business owner that does most of their work online, you're probably very accustomed to using PayPal to pay for almost everything that you do. If this is the case, you're going to want to be sure to open an account with your courier when you find one that takes PayPal, as this is one of those methods that is likely going to be available only to account holders.

If you want to know if your courier company, or one that you're interested in, is going to accept PayPal as a method of payment, then you should simply investigate their website. As PayPal is a web based payment method, most any company that accepts it would display the fact clearly. They also may have an option for you to login and pay your account via PayPal on their site if this is an option they have made available.
